The cutest thing was when Katrina randomly started doodling while the press conference was going on. Secondly, she claims he kept yelling at her to stand up straight and thirdly, to maintain eye contact, because she had a tendency to look everywhere but at him.
Firstly, she said, he taught her to keep her chin down and look up, resulting in quite the effect (I’m sure a few boys in the crowd ate their heart out at that point). Kat also spoke about the three things she learned from Shah Rukh. She went on to say that she wished he wouldn’t retire, because he always made her feel comfortable on sets, even realizing when she needed her space – something even people close to her may not have been able to realize. Katrina also spoke extensively about what it was like to work with Yash Chopra, and how she had always wanted to do so after she had watched Veer Zaara.
To this, Kat told a funny story about how she kept falling on SRK while shooting a simple scene in the song, and he was very patient about it – though SRK maintains that she can continue falling on him as long as she wants he’ll have no problem at all. SRK volunteered to tell the story about how brave Katrina was to tolerate the cold weather, and then told her that she must respond by praising him in return. They spoke about the song, fielded questions from the media (Katrina named the three things she learned from SRK), and generally just goofed off quite a lot.
The song features him and Katrina Kaif, but since Kat is currently in Chicago shooting for Dhoom 3, she connected to the conference via Skype. Recently, Shah Rukh Khan hosted a press conference to unveil the video of ‘Saans’, the new song from his upcoming Jab Tak Hai Jaan.
